12/09/20: National Situational Update on COVID-19 – MoH

National Situational Update on COVID-19 (data as of 11th September 2020)

Three men detected positive during the last 24 hours.

One is a 26-year-old Royal Bhutan Army personnel who is a contact of a case detected earlier in Phuntsholing. The other two are Royal Bhutan Police personnel serving as frontline workers at the point of entry in Gelephu detected through a screening of the frontline workers.

All of them were in self-contained premises and are being moved to isolation.

Three others are being declared recovered.

Definitions:

a. Confirmed: number of people who have tested positive through COVID-19 tests.

b. Active: number of people who are currently in the isolation facilities because they are still COVID-19 positive.

c. *Recovered: number of people who have tested negative on COVID-19 test and declared as recovered. Those who test negative twice over a 24 hour period are kept under 14 days of observation in a quarantine facility.
