13/09/20: National Situational Update on COVID-19 – MoH

National Situational Update on COVID-19 (data as of 12th September 2020)

Three new case detected during the last 24 hours.

One is a 40-year-old Royal Bhutan Army personnel and other is a 44-year-old official working at the Mini Dry Port. Both are contacts of cases detected earlier in Phuntsholing. The army personnel was in self-contained premises and the MDP official was at the facility quarantine at the time of detection.

Third is a 25-year-old female from Samdrup Jongkhar detected through the mass screening of Samdrup Jongkhar.

They will be moved to the isolation later today.

Meanwhile, one other person is being declared recovered.

Definitions:

a. Confirmed: number of people who have tested positive through COVID-19 tests.

b. Active: number of people who are currently in the isolation facilities because they are still COVID-19 positive.

c. *Recovered: number of people who have tested negative on COVID-19 test and declared as recovered. Those who test negative twice over a 24 hour period are kept under 14 days of observation in a quarantine facility.
