14/10/20: National Situational Update on COVID-19 – MoH

National Situational Update on COVID-19 (data as of 13th October 2020)

Four new cases detected over the last 24 hours.

Two are expatriate men aged 33 and 56 years quarantined in Paro. They arrived on 28th September 2020 from Kolkatta.
The other 2 are Bhutanese women 25 and 26 years who returned from the Middle East on 20th September, 2020 and quarantined in Thimphu.

Meanwhile, 2 others are being declared recovered.

DEFINITIONS:

a. Confirmed: number of people who have tested positive through COVID-19 tests.

b. Active: number of people who are currently in the isolation facilities because they are still COVID-19 positive.

c. *Recovered: number of people who have tested negative on COVID-19 test and declared as recovered. Those who test negative twice over a 24 hour period are kept under 14 days of observation in a quarantine facility.
