15/11/20: National Situational Update on COVID-19 – MoH

National Situational Update on COVID-19 (data as of 14th November 2020)

6 new cases detected over the last 24 hours. 

All are Bhutanese men; 4 are students aged 20 to 22 years old who returned from India on 9th November and quarantined in Thimphu and two others are 29 and 33 year olds who returned from Nepal on 11th November 2020 and quarantined in Phuntsholing. 

All of them are currently being moved to the isolation.  

Meanwhile, 4 others are being declared recovered. 

DEFINITIONS: 

a. Confirmed: number of people who have tested positive through COVID-19 tests.

b. Active: number of people who are currently in the isolation facilities because they are still COVID-19 positive.

c. *Recovered: number of people who have tested negative on COVID-19 test and declared as recovered. Those who test negative twice over a 24 hour period are kept under 14 days of observation in a quarantine facility.
