26/10/20: National Situational Update on COVID-19 – MoH

National Situational Update on COVID-19 (data as of 25th October 2020)

2 new cases detected over the last 24 hours.

Both are incoming travelers quarantined in Phuntsholing, one is a 31-year-old IMTRAT personnel who entered Bhutan on 11th October 2020 and other is a 40-year-old Bhutanese man who returned from India on 22nd October 2020. They are being moved to the isolation. 

Meanwhile, one other person is being declared recovered.  

DEFINITIONS: 

a. Confirmed: number of people who have tested positive through COVID-19 tests.

b. Active: number of people who are currently in the isolation facilities because they are still COVID-19 positive.

c. *Recovered: number of people who have tested negative on COVID-19 test and declared as recovered. Those who test negative twice over a 24 hour period are kept under 14 days of observation in a quarantine facility.
